Medical Management Request Application

This workflow app is called the “Medical Management Request Application”. It is used to submit and track issues and enhancements for medical management software systems used by AmeriHealth Mercy. This application replaced a muddled system of e-mails, print documents, and Excel spreadsheets, which was costing the company thousands each year.

The application front-end and functionality was built using ASP.NET (Visual Basic), AJAX, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It is connected to an SQL relational database (which I built), which contains eleven tables and over fifty stored procedures.

Intranet Weather Administration

iNSIGHT is AmeriHealth Mercy’s company-wide intranet. When I first started working there for my third Drexel co-op, the Web Team manually copied and pasted the week’s forecast into an antiquated ASP app each day. Entering the data took about ten to fifteen minutes.

I decided to take the initiative to create a new weather administration app, which would automatically pull the data from the site we were using, parse the information, and post it to the intranet. This new app was created with ASP.NET, JavaScript, and SQL. It also utilizes the AJAX toolkit accordion.

Smart Search Result Administration

This is another intranet administration web application, created using ASP.NET, JavaScript, and SQL. It also contains a heavy dose of the AJAX toolkit, utilizing controls such as the ModalPopup, Calendar, ListSearch, and TextBoxWatermark.

The actual application is used to administrate suggested search results for company websites. With the app, users can create, edit, and delete search results and descriptions, as well as the keywords associated with those results.
