Website Packages

All website packages include a customized layout and design for your website. You will be presented with 2 initial rough drafts of what your site will look like, plus up to 5 drafts and revisions before the content is added and 2 more after your content is added. This process guarantees that you will be 100% satisfied with the final product. After the final approval, the rest of the content of your site will be added.

All packages also include a custom banner, and inclusion of unlimited images, links, and copy provided by the client.

Cost

Rollover Navigation
Custom designed graphics that change when rolled over and link to another page on your website. This helps to add character and interactivity to your website. It also helps to communicate your message because these graphics can help represent your website topic. See the web graphics page for examples.

Drop-Down Navigation Menus
Custom designed animation. When links are moused over, a menu will drop down from that link to reveal more links under that category. This addition is ideal for a larger site with many links. See the Central Bucks East Ice Hockey site on the web site samples page for an example.

Extra Forms
Besides the included contact forms on all sites 3 pages and up, additional forms for other reasons such as surveys or mailing lists can be included.

Basic Search Engine Submission
If you are looking to gain recognition an attention via the internet, this is a fairly important feature. Clifftop Design will register your domain name and a few keywords in order to boost your site's position in search listings. Photos
Having photos in your website is very important. They add visual meaning, rhythm, and balance to you site. All photos provided by the client will be added to the site free of charge. However, photos included on your site that you did not provide must be searched for, edited, and incorporated. This is a time consuming process, but is worth it in the end because of the overall improvement in the site's appearance.

Copywriting
The text of a website must be informative and persuasive, and also to the point. This information must let visitors know all the information they need about your company and also what your site includes. Once again, all copy provided by the client is added free.

Logos
Clifftop Design can provide high quality, custom logos for use at your company and in your website. Logo costs vary depending on complexity and revisions required. See the logos and stationary page for more information.
   

Hosting Fees (necessary)

 

 

I use the hosting site bluehost.com. They have some of the lowest cost hosting available and have excellent service. They offer four packages for the services of setup, domain registration, and hosting. Setup is the charge to simply organize your account. Domain registration is the cost of setting up your site at the address you would like (you must first check to see if this address is available). Hosting is the monthly fee to have your website available on the internet. Here are the packages listed at bluehost.com:
     
3 Months - 9.95/mo + $30 setup + $10 domain = $69.85    
6 Months - 8.95/mo + $30 setup + $10 domain = $93.70    
12 Months - 7.95/mo (free setup and domain) = $95.40    
24 Months - 6.95/mo (free setup and domain) = $166.80    

Website Maintenance

 

Cost

Maintaining and updating a website is important and necessary at all times. When having someone keep your site up to date, the most important thing is to know that they will respond to your requests quickly and effectively. I guarantee that my e-mail will be checked at least twice a day and all updates or changes will be made within 24 hours or less, depending on the size of the update. There are two possible options for maintenance payments:    
  • A standard $20/week of service plus $30/hour. Changes are rounded to the nearest ten minutes. This means that if a change only takes ten minutes, that is all you are billed for. Exact records of maintenance times will be presented at the time of payment. Choose this option if you expect a large number of changes and updates to be needed for the site, and you will need the updates immediately.
  $20/week + $30/hour
  • $30/hour plus a $30 dollar fee for opening the file. Again, changes are rounded down to ten minute intervals and exact records will be kept. Choose this option when changes are needed less frequently or when changes are not urgent. Under this plan, it is recommended that you wait until you have multiple changes to be made and submit them all at one time. This will result in only one opening fee.
  $30 opening fee + $30/hour
* Maintenance services include: editing text on web pages, adding pages with the same design as other pages on the site, and adding or removing buttons, links, and pictures. This rate does not apply to changes in overall design or layout.
